Girls and Rituals

Throughout Greater London, from Surrey to Brixton, photographer Harriet Turney and art director Jamie Mcintyre travelled far and wide to bring us London’s galdem and their pre-game rituals—from lacing up new kicks, to listening to KissFM.

An ongoing project that lasted over 6 months, Harriet tracked down some of the undiscovered rising stars in the game, capturing the truth and honesty of the girls, and the reasons the girls simply love to play ball.
